Finding the Unchanging God in Times of Uncertainty
I have been awake since 4:00 a.m. this morning. A combination of a cup of coffee consumed way too late and a hoard of thoughts rolling through my head. Many times we find ourselves in these stages, brains full and tired bodies. Psalm 61:2 says, "When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I" I find myself this morning at The Rock, emptying out my brain like a basket full of merchandise. I hand over my worries to the Lord, my loved ones, myself ultimately. I don't know why we as Christians face and walk through different journeys. I don't completely understand anxiety, depression, autism and PTSD. The list could go on but those are on my plate today. I gladly discard those scraps of worry for peace.
