Finding the Unchanging God in Times of Uncertainty

     I have been awake since 4:00 a.m. this morning. A combination of a cup of coffee consumed way too late and a hoard of thoughts rolling through my head.  Many times we find ourselves in these stages, brains full and tired bodies. Psalm 61:2 says, "When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I" I find myself this morning at The Rock, emptying out my brain like a basket full of merchandise. I hand over my worries to the Lord, my loved ones, myself ultimately.       I don't know why we as Christians face and walk through different journeys. I don't completely understand anxiety, depression, autism and PTSD. The list could go on but those are on my plate today. I gladly discard those scraps of worry for peace. This is a biblical formula I use regularly. Trading anxieties and worries for peace, it works every time.       "Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made know
